My days are filled with painting Day of the Dead family portraits to prepare for an upcoming Day of the Dead festival in October.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

I thought I\u2019d share with you the progress from some of the paintings.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the first step – COVER with lots of acrylic paint, metallic, and INK! \u00a0 I love using ink to drip onto the canvas.<\/p>\n

Then I use gesso to get the basic\u00a0 shapes of the family.<\/p>\n

Then I add Aleena\u2019s glue to create raised areas on the canvas. \u00a0 I will paint over this later. \u00a0\"FullSizeRender<\/p>\n

After several layers of paint and some fun creating I end up with this!\u00a0 \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
