We RENEWED OUR WEDDING VOWS!!!  <\/strong> And Pixie officiated!!!   <\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/div>\n

She was by far the cutest little officiator I’ve ever seen!<\/strong>  <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary and our (my) goal was to renew our wedding vows in Hawaii on a cliff!   (You know guys don’t really seem to be into that mushy stuff), Anyway, I’ve been envisioning it for 3 years.   The ocean and wind… the way it would sound… the photographer I would hire and having Pixie walk as the flower girl….<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
But life sometimes throws you curve balls… Sometimes you wake up and things aren’t exactly as you had planned, but that doesn’t mean that you still can’t be grateful and still have a small part of that dream come true.<\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I decided instead of throwing myself a pity party for not being in Hawaii, I would plan a surprise vow renewal instead!   <\/span><\/span>
\n<\/strong><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
As soon as I said “surprise” Pixie was on board!!!   So, we planned!    Pixie would officiate and Blue would be there to witness!   <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
It was all set.   Pix and I get ready, bought some cake at HEB and a few flowers and then waited for Bobby to get home.    As soon as he got home we have him change and then Pixie put a bandana around his eyes so he didn’t see where we were headed.   <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
I drove up to this cliff in Granbury that we love and start the ceremony!   I didn’t think I would get emotional or that HE would get emotional, but we did.    <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
We both agree that the first 20 years were awesome and had their fair share of battles, fights, happiness, etc., but we both know that the next 20 years are going to be some of the best years of our life!   <\/span><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200b\u200bI’m not saying that there will not be trials or fights, but I am saying that we can always choose joy when those trials come.   <\/span><\/div>\n
