Have you ever made a wreath????<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong> \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n

Last year was the first time in my life I had a wreath on my door. \u00a0 <\/span>I\u2019m 39 years old I didn\u2019t really understand the appeal.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then my cousin gave me an old Christmas wreath she was getting rid of. \u00a0 <\/span>Her house looks like a Hallmark movie during ALL holiday seasons, but especially at Christmas time.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I graciously accepted the gift, but in my head all I could think was\u2026. \u201coh crap, now I have to buy a wreath hanger\u2026 and why would I want a wreath\u2026 and where do you buy a wreath hanger thingy????\u201d.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then\u2026 I DISCOVERED WHY! \u00a0 <\/span>Wreaths are FREAKIN\u2019 AWESOME!!!<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span> \u00a0 <\/span>Who knew (except for ALL of you)<\/strong> that wreaths TOTALLY make the porch come to life! \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a little secret\u2026. I LOVE to paint, but I\u2019ve never really \u201cdecorated\u201d before. \u00a0 <\/span>Don\u2019t get me wrong, I ADORE those nicely decorated model houses, but my home has been more of a\u2026. as my husband calls it\u2026. A BIG \u2018OL ART BOX! \u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Painted floors and painted murals all over the place.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As I get older, I find that I want to make it more like a home. \u00a0 <\/span>More like a Hallmark movie at Christmas. \u00a0 <\/span>You know\u2026 warm and inviting. \u00a0 <\/span>Still artsy, but maybe add a wreath or two! \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I was doing a FB Live<\/a> and Damon Oates, founder of Deco Exchange<\/a> was ON MY FB LIVE! \u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>I was FREAKING out! \u00a0 <\/span>He\u2019s like a BIG deal in the wreath world and here I am\u2026 painting a mermaid tail and finger-painting like a kindergartener trying to remain calm.\u00a0 Here’s the first video if you want to see it.<\/a> \u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As I\u2019m painting, I briefly show a Truck and Tree door hanger that I taught at many paint parties last year. <\/span><\/p>\n

I said \u201cYES!\u201d\u00a0 Then…. h<\/span>e mentioned how it could go on a wreath! \u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Inspired by this new idea of taking really fun wood paintings\u00a0that I LOVE to do<\/strong><\/span> and then mixing it in with a wreath made my heart happy!\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

I could make a version of a wreath that would still allow me to paint, but could also make my door look cool! \u00a0 <\/span>Almost like a painting hung on the door.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I was SOLD!<\/strong> <\/span>\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
