There’s not a finish line.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Well, there is…. but not in the sense you are thinking. \u00a0 Hear me out. \u00a0
I used to think so many things about so many things. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


For example: \u00a0 Skinny meant healthy. \u00a0 Or so I thought until a\u00a0few years back when I had lost about 15 pounds. \u00a0\u00a0I was really sick during that time. \u00a0 Heart surgery and a huge tumor on my back. \u00a0 I still think that tumor (which was removed and not cancerous) was eating all of my food supply. \u00a0 \u00a0 A heart surgery and a tumor removed all within 7 months of each other I slowly started putting on my “normal” weight. \u00a0 \u00a0Was I ever happy to be healthy again! \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Yes, I was skinny, but I was sick! \u00a0 \u00a0So there de-bunks that myth of “If only I was skinny I would be happy.” \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Well, not always.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Another example: \u00a0 Once I reach a certain goal I would be happy. \u00a0 I had this dream of teaching paint parties full time… which thankfully to many wonderful customers it’s a reality. \u00a0 But, I thought that the “finish line” of that happening would make me happy.\u00a0
It didn’t. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


There is always another goal. \u00a0There’s always a moving finish line. \u00a0 \u00a0It’s a fluid, living, breathing, thing that is untouchable.\u00a0
Unless you change your perspective and seek happiness in the right order starting with God.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n


I’ve learned SO much over the past several years and am learning more and more everyday.\u00a0
Please listen when I say…. \u00a0Don’t waste it. \u00a0\u00a0
Don’t ALWAYS have your head down that you don’t forget to look up…. forget to enjoy the process of whatever dream you have.\u00a0
Because the true secret I’ve learned is that all the good stuff happens while you are reaching for that goal. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


All the good stuff happens as you\u00a0become more, learn more, be who God wants you to be.\u00a0<\/strong>
That’s where all the fun, the adventure, the connections, the lessons, the growth, the humility…all of it! \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


It’s in the\u00a0moment of creating it.\u00a0
In the excitement and hope of what’s to come. \u00a0\u00a0
So, please use that creative inspired energy to take action! \u00a0 To share God’s talents! \u00a0 To do something awesome. \u00a0 But promise me you will enjoy ALL of it! \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Because it all goes too fast…. and there really isn’t a finish line anyway. \u00a0 So enjoy the process and make your days count. \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
