Y\u2019all, I just got a Glowforge! We are total newbies and are still learning how to use it. It is so simple. I mean, I have a Silhouette that I had to unplug because I couldn\u2019t even figure out how to turn it off! I don\u2019t like to share how to do something until I\u2019m comfortable with it. The Glowforge is a great way to make money. Today I\u2019m going to talk about 3 ways you can monetize it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What is a Glowforge?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

It is an at home 3D laser printer. Look, this machine is AWESOME! It cuts, scores and embosses all sorts of materials. You can use hardwood, leather, acrylic, metal, paper and so much more. It uses a beam of light to cut, score and emboss. It\u2019s also SUPER simple to use!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 Ways to Make Money With Your Glowforge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

1. Take One of Your Drawings and Make It a Wood Cut Out<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

So, look y\u2019all, the Glowforge not only cuts but it will also score as well. The score function allows you to add lines to your cut out to help your painters, just like a tracer for canvas! We just had two separate drawings (done with a sharpie and copy paper); one had the outline for cutting and the other had the details for scoring. We just did two separate scans and merged them in the online software. Then it did all the work for us! You can sell the wood cut out in an art kit or have a paint party with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Personalized Gifts<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I took a photo of all of my siblings and me, scanned it in and embossed it on wood. I\u2019m actually giving this to my mom for Mother\u2019s Day. You can take any photo and scan it and emboss it. It came out beautifully and I\u2019m sure my mom will love it.  I even scanned a picture of Dolly and embossed it! 3. Realtor Welcome Signs<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

These are a great personalized gift that a Realtor can give to a new homeowner. It has that homeowner\u2019s last name engraved on the welcome sign!
